Grass was very tall, we couldn’t step very far away from the awning area because the grass/stickers was so tall. I was scared of snakes in the tall grass as well.

Kimball Bend Park is a beautiful and well-kept campground with spacious sites, friendly hosts, and a peaceful atmosphere by the Brazos River. Many visitors appreciate the park's potential and the ongoing renovations, though there are concerns about high grass, ant infestations, and restroom cleanliness. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return, particularly for the scenic views and the welcoming environment.

This is a small campground. It’s relatively close to the highway which produced road noise at times. We had spot #13. It’s pretty well shaded to compared to most they had. The grass could have been mowed but the park in general was nice. No Wi-Fi for those who need it. Cell phone reception with AT&T was spotty at best. Facilities we ok. They had a total of four private bathrooms with a shower.

The grass was like 18 inches high. The stickers were bad. So much debre along the river couldnt fish. Gate attendant was very seldom there so anyone could get in. Bathrooms were unclean and broken shower controls. Quite hours were not controlled.

Would have gave it 5 stars but who ever takes care of the ground was slipping because the camp sight hadn’t been mowed in some time and the Texas stickers where everywhere!!!!
