It was a very relaxing weekend however the campground requires more maintenance the grass even that was dormant at this time of the year it was very long over 6inches, the pads have very big rocks and definitely needs to re reconditioned.

Nice Park, has 50A Electric and a good dump station. The park host are very nice and friendly. Could use an additional Dumpster in the park.

Nicely maintained and quiet park! The best part was the pot bellied pig outside our camper one morning. We will definitely be back!

It's a nice park along the Brazos river. It could use some maintenance, like painting the picnic covers at each campsite.

Beautiful campground with immediate access to Lake Whitney. The campsites are very spacious, with covered picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill. You can have up to three “structures” (rv and two tents; three tents). The sites have 50amp power and fresh water. The dump station is by the wash house (showers and toilets). At $26 per night, it is a tremendous bargain.

From Kopperl, TX, travel north on HWY 56 for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right on HWY 174 and go approximately 2.3 miles. Turn left into the park, just before the HWY 174 bridge.
From Cleburne, TX, travel south on HWY 174 for 22 miles. Turn right into the park after you cross the HWY 174 bridge.
Kimball Bend Park is accessible via HWY 56 and HWY 174, both of which provide connections to nearby towns and roads.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
