Finding that COE PARKS has no consistency whatsoever in one park will not let you in until a designated time others have a gate guards and some has no gate guard at all. The grass was extremely high close to river saw several snakes near a large wood pile. Ant beds near the electrical pedestal. The entrance was mowed but pass the entrance and RV sites had not been mowed in some time.

Way over grown, could not walk out of camp area stickers everywhere. Brush piled everywhere we didn’t even stay we just packed up and left. They really have this this park go down hill

I have been to this park several times with a group we camp with often. We love the park for quick get-a-ways with it being close to home. On this trip, we had the clear dead tree limbs from our sites, and then we had to mow the four spots we had booked because the grass was so tall. The park attendant said there was some issue with the contract for the grass cutting. After we mowed our spots and got camp set up, we constantly heard tree limbs breaking off and falling to the ground around us, which caused concern for the large dead limbs above the RV's, and the fact that we were all sitting under the shade of the trees. I don't think I have ever been on a camping trip where we had to discuss and escape plan if you hear tree limbs breaking above you.

Grass was well over 1’ tall and there were broken tree branches everywhere. Clean the place up before opening sections please!!! Raise the rental cost a couple of bucks to pay for it if necessary but we should not have to bring our own lawn mowers to cut the grass just to walk to see our friends.
