Nice place....it's kinda private but not sit on the back porch naked private. Watch your head getting in and out of bed tight loft area. Not totally sure about the bed size but it's definitely not a king. The ladder to the loft is almost straight up steps are over a foot apart. If your afraid of climbing ladders I would not recommend renting. Tho thier is a fold out couch on bottom floor. Owner leaves a few fresh eggs and stores for customers. The eggs are brown eggs not white definitely home grown eggs. The tub is nice for baths. Showering is kinda difficult very narrow with shower curtains closed and to be under shower head is right in the curve of the tub. The tub has a very high step to get into over 2 feet needs small step and bar to hang onto to make getting in and out more comfortable. Pot belly stove is nice if you know how to use one. Damper is open with lever on back left all the way to the back. To the front the damper is closed. Fire starting materials are in the bucket by front door outside. I almost used the giant jenga blocks outside as fire starter till my g/f told me they were for jenga lol. Take a cookie sheet for heating things. Has all dishes but a cookie sheet to cook homade pizza or cookies. Very clean an quiet. Close to town kinda..... all an all nice place to stay for those that can afford to do so.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary here and we had an amazing experience. It's a 1.5-2 hr drive from Dallas depending on what time you leave. We arrived late at night and the view of the stars was absolutely gorgeous! Our room was very clean and tidy when we arrived and it provided everything that we need to cook and start a fire outside. They even have a trail in several parts of the area so you don't have to go elsewhere to hike. The staff was very accommodating and came by a certain hour to see if we needed trash to be taken out or other toiletries. We didn't need anything at that point but we noticed that our lamp was not properly charging later that night. We messaged them if we could have a new usb to charge it and they came by very quickly to hand us one! We really had such a good time here just the two of us and I really hope to visit again!

Perfect to unplug and enjoy nature while still sleeping in a comfy bed! Small kitchen is perfect for simple meals. Made steak dinner and egg sandwiches for breakfast no problem. Has lots of small amenities like s’more package for 2 and pour over coffee. This our second time staying here and there isn’t a bad cabin location. PERFECT for kids and made to be dog friendly.

What a wonderful peaceful relaxing stay! Much needed getaway from city stress & work commitments. Just a mere 2 hr drive from DFW metro is this hidden gem. Glamping at its finest. Well planned thoughtful and organized cabin with all the necessary stocks and supplies. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, snacks, water and s’mores were a nice touch. Firewood and starter kit were very helpful. Management was very responsive and Brittany was very accommodating and warm. Never wanted to leave this heaven and will definitely return back.
