The park is a nice well setup place however...our neighbors who were obviously li king in the camp ground were terrible. Blasting music till all hours, getting drunk and wandering into others camp sites, letting there dogs run all over the camp ground, and blasting white supprimist pod cast at 7 am! Didn't feel safe as they were up all night arguing and yelling, talking of fire arms and the like. Not a safe place for kids!!! Tried to contact the office and there was no answer, it's a shame given how beautiful this place is. Ruined our entire weekend

We had an amazing and relaxing time. The tent pass bring elevated was pretty nice. I liked the creepy tree sounds at night camp site 4 way to close to our neighbor but that was okay they were nice. Would go again! Will go again!

Great campsite. Close to the parking lot which is either a pro or con for you. The hike in the direction of Cedar Breaks is pretty interesting, but the hike in the opposite direction is very flat. If you want something more primitive check out Sawyer camp.

Site was clean, the park itself was well maintained. For bare bones camping the price was great, and everyone had a good time!

The group camp site was well suited for our group. There is an established fire ring and plenty of room for a group of about 25. The restrooms were very basic, one step above a port-a-potty, and a couple minutes walk from the group site. That was the one downside of this location.

There were few other campers during the week in October. The area for my tent was clean, flat and well kept. A picnic table and pole for hanging food, etc. was available. Potable water wasn't too far away and the privies had TP. Easy access to a shallow river nearby. Good distance from start of loop, which allowed me to test my new gear. I'm training for a five month backpacking trip and enjoy having a 26 mile loop through this park that I can use without having to drive far.

Been there before and very nice. this overnight stay with my wife was very disappointing.
a group of young teenagers were camping in the site next to us and were up till 5 am! with at times music, shouting and carrying on. Other campers made no attempt to confront them out of a suppose fear. My wife kept me from approaching them myself for fear of retribution while we slept.
Very disappointed their is no longer on site facilitators to enforce the camp rules. I would suggest at least a patrol stop around 11pm or 12 am to ensure the curfew and safety of the campers.

From I-35, take Williams Drive west, then turn south on Farm to Market Rd 3405. Turn east on County Rd 258 and continue across the North San Gabriel River. Turn left into Tejas Park.

General
- Campers with a confirmed Recreation.gov reservation may go directly to their assigned campsite upon arrival. If you have questions about your site, please see the volunteer park host in the park.
- Camping is by reservation only. To make a reservation, visit Recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777.
- Camper parking is available in a centrally located parking lot. Customers cannot drive directy to their campsite.
- The Group Area does not have a shelter on the site.
- Maximum 14 day stay limit enforced. No extensions permitted.
- To modify a reservation, customers must use the online system or contact the Recreation.gov Call Center. Customers cannot change their reservation within 2 days of their arrival date. Cancellations up to 2 days before a reservation start date incur a $10.00 cancellation fee. A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation).
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
