We came to rainbows Inn three years ago as we made our domicile in Livingston, Texas. Really appreciate the escapes mail service and the staff that works there as well as the office staff. When we first came I was very disappointed with the park in general. The sites are gravel and relatively level, the ones near the office and in “the trees” are not bad maybe as someone mentioned. However, the sites near the activity center are the best in the park. There is not lot of amenities, and it definitely does need some upgrading. They have two Landry facilities , bathroom and showers and occasionally the pool when it is open. There is no Internet or Wi-fi service at all and if you have a family there is nothing for children here - no playground or anything. Most likely it’s because there seems to be an older population here. The one very positive is the people who come here or live here in the permanent residence community. They are awesome.
There are some activities hosted by those who are retired RVers who live full time at the park - such as bingo, beading, ladies lunches( one a month), card game on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, book club, stitch and chat as well as a ham operator group.
