MISSING HOTEL

We were looking for something a little different and this place did not disappoint! A friend recommended it and I’m so glad they did! We took this trip as a “baby moon” as my wife is pregnant and we wanted one last quiet vacation before the baby is born. Everything was so perfect from booking the reservation, the accommodations as well as awesome sunset views!

We will definitely be back in the near future!!

When we arrived to the hotel, we were for less than one hour and we decided not stay here, first because in the glamping we didn't can see the sunset, we were hoping that the view was like the photos they have in Instagram, but not, it was so boring for us, the second because the romantic package that I requested was really poor, and then we saw again the previous reviews and I found one where they used the same decoration in the past that we found in the Trouvay unit, this is the unit that they assigned to us, sincerely I was hoping to give my husband a beautiful surprise for our anniversary, but when I entered we didn't feel comfortable with that, and the third reason, the property lacks maintenance, which doesn't justify the price of the stay. The only thing we liked was that it was clean, that's it.

A truly dreamy escape! The tiny house was everything we imagined—modern comforts blended perfectly with the feeling of being far away from it all. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the hill country, we spent our time simply relaxing together, and it was truly incredible. The peaceful setting made it easy to disconnect and just enjoy each other’s company. This was our second stay at Missing, and it won’t be our last. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway where you can feel secluded yet still enjoy tasteful amenities, this is absolutely worth the drive.

My partner and I stayed at The Missing Hotel in September for his birthday, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation we could have imagined. We stayed in the Zephyr, and from the moment I began planning the trip, Rochelle was absolutely incredible. She helped me choose the perfect stay, made the entire booking process seamless, and truly went above and beyond in every way. Her warmth and care set the tone for what would become one of the most meaningful trips we’ve ever taken.

I’ve visited many high-end resorts and luxury retreats, but Missing Hotel genuinely takes the cake. You come here for the beauty of nature, the serene landscape, the intentional and gorgeous details, and the personal touch present at every turn.

My partner told me this was the best thing anyone has ever done for him and the most beautiful gift he’s ever received. He had just finished a demanding five-week stretch working as an apartment locator, and this was his first real break. He said this stay was everything he needed and more.

During our time here, we reconnected in a way that felt effortless. Time moves differently at Missing Hotel; somehow the days flew by, yet every moment felt still and full. We spent hours simply looking out at the trees from bed, surrounded by windows that open into the Hill Country. We’d lose ourselves in the quiet, in the peace of the landscape, and in each other.

Some of our favorite memories were the long, silent hours in the hot tub—just holding each other, breathing, and existing. And the outdoor shower in the morning was unmatched. He showered while I relaxed in the outdoor tub, and it felt like something out of a dream.

The owner was also incredibly kind. He offered us a personal tour of the property and took the time to help us navigate everything when we arrived. If we hadn’t been so exhausted from the previous weeks, we would have taken him up on the full tour—he was that wonderful.

My partner and I have already made it our mission to return every couple of months to reset from the busy world and get lost in our own again. This place gave us something special—silence, slowness, and the kind of magic that only comes from being fully present.

They made my boyfriend’s birthday more special than I ever could’ve imagined and even helped bring us a cake! We aren’t just visitors passing through but customers for life!

We had an amazing stay at Missing Hotel! The customer service was wonderful from start to finish. There are tons of hiking trails right outside your door, with gorgeous views all around
it truly felt peaceful, stress-free, and rejuvenating.

The dome we stayed in was perfect
clean, cozy, and comfortable with a stunning view. The patio was ideal for stargazing, and being surrounded by the sounds of nature was magical. It even rained during our stay, which made it feel like we had live “sleep sounds” the kind people pay for!

I purchased the birthday add-on for my husband, and it was absolutely worth it. We walked into the dome beautifully decorated for his birthday, complete with a huge and delicious cake, candles, and a chilled bottle of champagne. It made him feel so special and saved me time trying to plan it all myself.

The grounds were clean, well-kept, and designed with such care. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations.
