Site 41. May 23-27, 2022. This pull-thru padded site was very level and had a nice view that overlooked the creek with direct access good for fishing. It had two fairly large trees to the right for afternoon shade with a firepit and covered picnic table. It was quite peaceful (until the family with 3 large barking dogs and 2 children arrived who ALL ran into the creek while my husband was fishing). We will visit again this September with in-laws!

Dumpsters full bathrooms nasty gate open during the week . I paid for a spot I think if I leave the gate should be closed at least to help secure items at spot

Location was very clean, close to the water, no stickers in the grass which was wonderful, a large shade tree to sit under, electric and water, and very quiet. We had a wonderful time.

Our kids grew up coming here, now we had an opportunity to bring our grandchildren. We had a great time. This is a lovely campground.

The park was nice enough. My campsite was littered with cigarette butts & the front office people were a bit rude, especially the woman. She literally screamed at me because I didn’t follow her instructions 100%. But whatever. All in all, it was a fine experience.

Very nice views of the adjacent lake from our site (#50). The concrete picnic table was permanently covered. The parking pad was relatively level but in poor shape with crumbling concrete and asphalt creating trip hazards. The public facilities in our loop were not clean and poorly lit. We never observed anyone cleaning the showers or toilets the 3 days we were there. The sites were nicely spaced from each other. This was probably a beautiful facility in its earlier days. Budget cuts and staffing issues appear to have taken a toll.
