. I wish the dump station was better . Our tanks never get drained good , we have to put blocks underneath the wheels and still bring about 1/4 in each tank home. Some of the picky tables needed updated . We enjoy the gate people they are really nice . It’s good for bicycle riding . Restrooms and showered are clean

We camped Thursday -Sunday in early May. We had a WONDERFUL campsite. The temperature was high but the lake breeze kept us cool all day. Our only exception to a GREAT weekend was the people beside us playing very loud music until midnight Friday & until 11:00+ on Saturday. We expected someone to do something about it since posted quiet hours were 10:00pm - 6:00 am. That happens sometimes I guess. The campsite couldn’t have been better. We all had a good time.

One of our favorite Corp Parks. So peaceful and no rowdy obnoxious people. Never had bad encounter.
Only issue is one dump station at this location and be prepared to use a personal hose, 9/10 times someone has run over the one provided. Helpful tip.

The wind off the lake can be a bit much, especially if tent camping.
Nice campgrounds with a beautiful view of lake Whitney.
Only thing I would change is the showers near campsites 1-35. There is no dry, private place to get dressed. Either you have to risk clothes getting wet in the shower or risk being seen naked by anyone entering the restroom or standing outside the door.

This park is very nice with a lot of trees, We were on the creek side and the view of the lake was great. The park is very quiet. We tried the food truck in Whitney called the Fishing Cow. It was very good BBQ. I was in site 52. The corp. needs to repave the trailer pad. It is broken up and you could mess up a tire or wheel if you are not careful. Also the corp. should make the dump station a double. There is plenty of space to do so.
