Cedron Creek Park offers a beautiful environment with well-maintained sites, plenty of shade, and access to wildlife, making it a great spot for camping and outdoor activities. It was very disappointing to see Tents only staying in 50 Amp sites. I have been staying in the same campground for at least the last 15 years. These sites are very difficult to get during Holiday season and to see Tents only camping in 50 Amp sites is very disappointing and should not be allowed when all they are using is 120V plug and the same site changed customers twice in the same weekend with both being tents only. Very bad customer service letting this happen. I quit staying in State Parks 20 years ago because of the same issue.

We stayed in Site #52. Excellent view of and access to the lake. This site overall is not very level but the parking area is fine. We really like this site. Probably not the best for little children or handicapped persons.

with all the rain and the rising of the water it should of closed the park . boat ramp was closed do to high water so if you wanted to fish you had to walk out 40 feet or wade out just to get to the water not to mention they closed any access to the water unless you wanted to walk thru 3ft weeds. bathrooms need better job cleaning i was there 7 days and i left early because was just not worth it we have August 8th booked as well going to cancel that for sure.

We love to come to Cedron Creek Park to feed the deer, geese, turkeys & squirrels. You never know what these amazing animals are going to do. We had 4 turkeys around our campsite #31 the whole time we were there & they came following close behind a skunk one day...that was funny to watch the skunk twirl around & put his tail up !!! This park is always a good time !!!

We stayed in #48 which was one of several shaded sites in that loop & it was pretty level & private. This loop is the only 50 amp area-it’d be nice if other areas were 50 amp too, but talking to a park host-it prob won’t happen due to cost. Clean bathhouse. Cover for picnic table is metal, so strong magnets would be handy to have. Next time we visit we’ll try to get #57, it has lots of shade & seemed to get a little breeze from the lake. Whatever park we stay at, we always drive around & make notes of other sites - the ones to stay away from & ones we’d like to try if we go back.

Site was poorly maintained, we had issues with excessive fire ants and three wasp nests on the camp site. We actually had to abandon camp at 3AM and retreat to a hotel. Completely unusable.
