Spacious sites in the woods. Lots of trees overhead and our spot was level. Overpriced compared to much nicer state parks we have stayed at. Not much of a senior discount.

My family and I have stayed at Cagle on 5 different occasions and we absolutely love the place. Clean, quiet, on the water and only 60 mi from home. Makes for a nice weekend with nature and good people. We will be returning.

I’m an avid outdoorswoman and camp often, so I expected some weekend noise. However, I was extremely disappointed that some campers created constant, unnecessary noise by repeatedly opening and closing car doors and locking and unlocking their vehicles until 2 AM. We packed up early Sunday morning and left. Not sure we’ll be back.. at least in a tent!
