We were staying in site number 32 overlooking the lake. My only complaint is that this site is very un level. We almost didn’t have enough blocks for the back end. It drops off at the back other than that we had a great time.

Second spring time trip to this lovely campground. Had a great time with family. Will be coming back. Enjoyed the walking trails and looking for nesting eagles

Campsites were very well spaced and it was nice to have septic at the site instead of having to go to a dump station. Shout out to the camp hosts who put my chairs and charcoal under my awning after leaving it out and it had started raining while we were sleeping.

Our camp host was Randy who was a delight. He met us literally as we pulled in and we spoke daily. He was always eager to help make our stay terrific, which it was. We've been to other campgrounds where the host was invisible. Cagle was very nice, but Randy was the real difference-maker.

We go there every spring break because the weather is usually pretty warm, but not this year. We particularly like the sweet gum section as the sites are much larger. No view of the lake but that’s ok as it right around the bend and has an excellent boat launch. Tall pine 🌲 trees all around and they also act as a wind break.
