Park Host Stephen was great! He introduced himself and welcomed me when I arrived and thanked me for visiting and wished me safe travels as I was departing. I loved the hiking trail around the campgrounds! Had 20 species of birds in or around my campsite.

Large sites with lots of space between the backs of parking pads. Nice trails.

Although the weather wasn't in our favor, the campground and campsites were nice. Everything was clean and neat and the park host was friendly and helpful. I think his name was Randy. Large campsite pads and some very scenic waterfront sites as well. I also love the striped off road side parking areas near some of the campsites for extra vehicle or boat parking. Nice hiking trail, and having a boat ramp right next door was great. Bathrooms could have used some heat, but other than that they seemed clean and well maintained.

We really loved our stay at Cagle. There is so much space to spread out and have fun. I only took away one star because the boats are so loud coming and going from the boat ramp. You could literally pay 5 times the price and not stay at a park as nice as Cagle!
