We spent the weekend at Cagel in January. The park was well kept, clean and very relaxing. The host Mr. Bob was extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back and would encourage others to visit as well!

We stayed on the Sycamore loop, site 36, January 7th to January 11th. We found the campground very well maintained. The camp hosts were the best. My wife and I hiked the trails, enjoyed the local flora and met with some great folks who are regular visitors. Someday we will be back in the Houston area. I know where we will stay.

Really love this campground! Wish I could say a bad thing about it but I can't. Sites are spread out, level, and easy to back into. I guess the only slight thing that's not a positive is that the hookups are in the middle of the site.. might work for some travel trailers but mine are all in the rear. Had to park the trailer a little farther towards the spot.. but not really a big deal. Might actually work better for some of the big rigs.
