Park host was sweet and kind and took care of the park. Only thing I was kinda looking forward to was a hot shower but shower was out of order and had to drive to a different area to find a shower.

We have camped there for many years. Hosts are pretty good. I do not know who is responsible for cleaning the restroom but they were never cleaned for the 4 days we were there!!

Cagle Recreation Area is a real nice place to stay. Quiet ,secluded, Full Hookups for your RV. I'll definitely stay here again. And only 6 minutes from New Waverly, TX

Very nice and friendly park. Hosts were very helpful. Shower area in Ladies could use a bit of repair as my wife noted the showerhead was missing. Possibly will go back in the future.

This was a great little jewel of a campsite I had no idea was here. Quiet and peaceful bathrooms could use a little bit of updating but then again most people have an RV.

Turn right (west) on FM 1375. The Sam Houston District Office is on the right approximately 2.5 mi west of I-45. Cagle Recreation Area is approximately 6 mi west of I-45 and approximately 3 mi west of the District Office on the left hand side of FM 1375.
