Cagle is our favorite place to take our RV, mainly because it's full hook ups, and also because of the more secluded nature of the park. It's also within 80 mi of home, and also close to all of the shopping facilities we might want to visit. Cagle is always nice and clean, and the hosts are super friendly. We're booked again for September.

Overall, the park is very nice. Sites are far apart and kept up very well. We were in site 30. However, next to us were several unleashed dogs, who would walk over to our campsite and cause our dogs to bark. These other dogs yapped constantly , and really caused our stay to be ruined. Please enforce the leash rule and the quiet time rule!!

We have been going to Cagle Recreation Area for 15 yrs. We absolutely love this place! The fishing is good, it’s not too busy, it has clean bathrooms/showers, and wonderful hosts! We will be back soon!

Turn right (west) on FM 1375. The Sam Houston District Office is on the right approximately 2.5 mi west of I-45. Cagle Recreation Area is approximately 6 mi west of I-45 and approximately 3 mi west of the District Office on the left hand side of FM 1375.
