Jellystone Park™ Waller

We had a little weekend getaway here during off-season. It was a fun time to get away as a family and our young kids had a BLAST - crafts, fishing, bingo, just being outside!

I am not giving 5 stars due to our cabin environment. I didn’t have HUGE expectations for it, but I still don’t think those were met. When entering the cabin, the musty smell was SO pungent and absolutely disgusting and remained there for the entire weekend. It smelled like we were sleeping in a Port-A-Potty. And at night, we definitely had some critter friends visiting us inside…little scampers across the floor kept me up all night, but thankfully everyone else slept well!

For the price, I don’t think the experience was worth it, but my kiddos couldn’t be happier. So take that for whatever it is worth!

We’re full-time RVers and have been rolling around this great country for the past five years — so we’ve seen a park or two (or fifty 😉). This one? It’s a keeper.

The park is wonderful, and the staff is top-notch. A special shoutout to Lane — if every campground had a Lane, the RV world would be a smoother place — and Samantha (Sam), who treated us so well we briefly considered not leaving.

Our site had a cement pad that was so level we didn’t even argue about the leveling blocks (a rare RV marriage victory). It came with a BBQ, a bench, and plenty of room to park our car without playing a game of campground Tetris.

We checked out the showers — brand new and spotless. The store is well-stocked and honestly just fun to browse. You go in for ice and come out 20 minutes later wondering how you ended up buying fudge and a souvenir mug.

There are over 145 cabins here, and the mini golf course is brand new and ready for some serious family bragging rights. The pool area and water slides are currently closed, but you can tell it’s going to be a blast when it’s up and running — especially for families with kids who have way more energy than the rest of us.

If you’re hungry, check out Waller Feed for good food and entertainment, or Cielito Lindo for some solid Mexican food. Arlan’s Grocery is close by, Walmart is about 10 mi away, and the town of Cypress — about 18 mi out — has pretty much everything you could need (including the stuff you forgot to pack).

Overall, this is a great, clean, well-maintained park and a fun place to stay. We’d happily park our home-on-wheels here again! 🚐

We had so much fun here! There were so many fun things for the kids to do! The staff was super friendly and both the adults and kids had a great time. Special shout of to Hattie in the activities center for being so sweet with the kids and offering tons of fun activities!

We visited Jellystone Park and our experience was terrific thanks to two employees named Hattie and Chris. They were both very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the park. There's something for everyone to enjoy here. We will definitely be coming back.

We had such an amazing time at Jellystone Park! It’s truly one of the best places for kids and families, there’s so much to do, and the atmosphere is fun, safe, and welcoming. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great experience.

We can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend Jellystone Park for a fun-filled, family-friendly getaway!
