It was my first time visiting this campground and we loved it. There were lots of sugar ants though so make sure and bring ant killer. Other than that everything was great. We will be back.

We stayed at campsite 10 which is very close to the water. Loved having water hookup, picnic table, and fire ring right there so close together. We were just 15 yards from the water and able to enjoy breathtaking sunrises as well as sunsets! Shower houses and other bathrooms were extremely clean and well maintained! All the grass was mowed and looked well cared for as well! No trash and very beautiful! 10/10 will be back again!

We stayed at campsite 10 which is very close to the water. Loved having water hookup, picnic table, and fire ring right there so close together. It's a great campground... once you get there. There's no address and the directions are sketchy. Worse, there's almost no signage. We got stuck on a narrow road and had to see-saw to get turned around and still had to ask where the campground was. When we got there, there was little to no signage as to which sites were where.
Once you get in, if you do, there are great views of the lake. It's quiet and relaxing with hook ups and spacious campsites. We would stay there again, now that we know how to get there.

From Pottsboro, TX, travel 9 mi north on Hwy 289. Exit right at the campground.

Preston Bend is accessible via Hwy 289, which is approximately 9 miles south of Pottsboro. There are no interstates or major highways within 25 miles.
