What Guests Are Saying
Clear Lake Park offers beautiful lake views and a generally clean camping environment, with friendly and helpful camp hosts enhancing the experience. While some visitors noted issues with park upkeep, including tall grass and bathroom cleanliness, many appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and potential for a great getaway. Overall, the park has charm but would benefit from improved maintenance and facilities.

Had a nice weekend even though it rained on Saturday. Campsite was good, maybe need to keep grass areas mowed. Bathrooms were clean for the most part, but the wife decided to shower in travel trailer due to no hot water in one of the stalls and there was only one other one available but in use.
Roads and RV/TT parking pavement needs improvement,
If you are camping over the weekend, We would definitely suggest you arriving early due to Awful traffic coming from the Lucas area.
On a Good Note, the live in park attendant was very welcoming and helpful in giving us information on the Clear Lake and a couple of other parks at Lake Lavon. We left early (due to more rainstorms) and was actually contacted by Her. She wanted to confirm we checked out early, and after confirming she gave us a partial refund! This is definitely a plus for this park. Keep up the Good work and keep pushing to improve Clear Lake Park!

Quiet and peaceful during the week. Got busy on the weekend and it lost its serenity. Also, with what appeared to be 3 camp hosts for such a small park, I would expect better maintenance (ex:mowing). Bathrooms were dated but clean. Asphalt was in pretty bad condition in many spots but the site we had was pretty good (others no so much).
