What Guests Are Saying
Clear Lake Park offers beautiful lake views and a generally clean camping environment, with friendly and helpful camp hosts enhancing the experience. While some visitors noted issues with park upkeep, including tall grass and bathroom cleanliness, many appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and potential for a great getaway. Overall, the park has charm but would benefit from improved maintenance and facilities.

Decent park that needs a little tending on the buildings and grounds. Tree trimming, grass mowing, and some building maintenance needed.

We camped for 4 nights with a travel trailer while visiting relatives in the area. It was overall a good experience, some grassy areas could have used some mowing, but it was not that bad. Restrooms were what you might expect at a campground, not the most pleasant but serviceable. The days we visited were the hottest of the year thus far, highs from 102 to 105 and of course there was the east Texas humidity. It would probably be a good idea to use some insect repellant when outside. The park was clean, nice views, and a nice lake setting. The park overseers were very nice and helpful.
