The park was very clean, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is with the shower near the boat dock. I visited this park 4 years ago and the door would not lock. I found it this way again on my latest visit. This is very dangerous for women and children. The locks need to be checked often to ensure they work.
Everything else was great!

This is a beautiful peaceful park. Nice lake to kayak. It was calm when I was there. I enjoyed my campsite being near the water. The bathrooms were pretty far from the campsites but were nice. I hope to return again because I really like the pretty campsite and kayaking there. It would be nice if there was a trail there, but you can ride your bike on the road around the campsite and that is nice. I didn't see any hint of alligators, which makes me happy. They had several swimming areas and playgrounds that looked nice. Some people enjoyed fishing there. The drive was beautiful because of the bluebonnets on the way and there were a few blue bonnets in the park.

Nice large campsites for your RV. Plenty of room for my 36' RV and crew cab diesel, with room to spare. Lots of trees for shade. We always meet new nice folks there. We will be visiting again, with friends, in June. Great picnic tables with large metal covers.
