Nice place but the down fall is don’t go when the drifting of is going on. There is a legal pit near the park and the noise is very bad.

Very clean campsites. No problem with water an electric hookups. Gate attendants were very friendly. Park was beautiful with scenery and wildlife. We fished and caught fish right by campsite. Highly recommend this park for a relaxing getaway.

Very clean campsites. No problem with water an electric hookups. Gate attendants were very friendly. Park was beautiful with scenery and wildlife. We fished and caught fish right by campsite. Highly recommend this park for a relaxing getaway.

Very quite park during Sunday & Monday nights. Campsite #10 definitely needed some TLC as upon our arrival there was trash scattered around and the concrete picnic table had a layer of cooking grease on it - WHAT A MESS - could NOT use the picnic table! Shower/toilet building #1 is in desperate need of repairs. There is a constant leak from the toilet base, so there is water on the floor that you have to wade thru to use the toilet. We've been to much nicer maintained COE parks, so come on COE, get your act together here before this Park is trashed!

Love this park the gate attendants are very nice and helpful. I love having paid gate attendants it makes me full safer when I have to run errands or go to doctor appointments. We also don’t have to worry about rift draft or drug deals in the park with the paid gate attendants.

From Waco or Corsicana, Texas, take State Highway 31 to the intersection with FM 667. Turn north on FM 667 and travel about 1.5 miles to the park entrance on the left side of the road.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The facility operates year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The gatehouse operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and campers can exit at night after 10 p.m.
- Visitor hours conclude at 10:00 p.m., while Day Use for fishing ends at sunset.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Safety & rules
- Park Hosts are on-site 24/7 for emergencies.
- Fireworks are strictly prohibited at all times.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles like ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts are prohibited.
- Visitors are required to use overflow parking.
Fees & deposits
- A $5 Day Use fee per vehicle is required for fishing and swimming; Day Use ends at sunset for non-registered campers.
Site types & loops
- Small pools are allowed on pavement or sand, but not on grass; slip-n-slides are not permitted.
Amenities
- Bounce houses are allowed at group shelters with a permit; contact the lake office for details.
Wildlife & food storage
- Visitors should follow steps to manage Argentine ants, including keeping food secured and sites clean.

- Fires are only allowed in designated areas; firewood must be local, and branches may be collected for use.
