So very beautiful!
The location was loaded with birds, the access to firewood made some of the best camp fires ever!!!!
Only problem was no full service for dumping!!

We love this campground in winter. You can almost have the place to yourself. Trees, deer, and beautiful sunsets over the water.

From Waco or Corsicana, Texas, take State Highway 31 to the intersection with FM 667. Turn north on FM 667 and travel about 1.5 miles to the park entrance on the left side of the road.
The campground is accessible via State Highway 31, which connects to other major roads in the vicinity.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The facility operates year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The gatehouse operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and campers can exit at night after 10 p.m.
- Visitor hours conclude at 10:00 p.m., while Day Use for fishing ends at sunset.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Safety & rules
- Park Hosts are on-site 24/7 for emergencies.
- Fireworks are strictly prohibited at all times.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles like ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts are prohibited.
- Visitors are required to use overflow parking.
Fees & deposits
- A $5 Day Use fee per vehicle is required for fishing and swimming; Day Use ends at sunset for non-registered campers.
Site types & loops
- Small pools are allowed on pavement or sand, but not on grass; slip-n-slides are not permitted.
Amenities
- Bounce houses are allowed at group shelters with a permit; contact the lake office for details.
Wildlife & food storage
- Visitors should follow steps to manage Argentine ants, including keeping food secured and sites clean.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are only allowed in designated areas; firewood must be local, and branches may be collected for use.
