What Guests Are Saying
Pecan Point Park offers a beautiful setting with stunning lake views, well-maintained grounds, and great access for paddling and swimming. The campsites are secluded and picturesque, especially during sunset. However, the restrooms are in poor condition, with cleanliness issues and limited amenities, so visitors should come prepared.

horrible service bathrooms were not cleaned once the entire time we were there. Loud neighbors, drunk all hours of the night. Guest were allowed to have dogs just roam and guest had to be extra careful with their own pets and kids as the dogs just walked up and how are we to know if they are friendly animals. Trash was all over the ground.

We had a great time at Pecan Point! Our campsite was really nice, roomy, peaceful and very close to the water. Beautiful lake front view. Only downer is no dock at boat ramp for boarding onto our boat. Otherwise we had a very nice 3-day weekend. Thank you!

The fire ants were terrible - everywhere. The corp could broadcast some fire ant and Argentina ant bait.
We wanted to arrive earlier than Friday but that was impossible because the park is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They need to open the park the full week, especially on weeks with holidays. This park needs some cosmetic work - trees trimmed.
We worry there is some drug trafficking going on sometimes.
We like this small park because it doesn't have the traffic the other parks on the lake have and it is quiet most of the time.

It would be nice to update the restrooms and showers. Also there are a whole lot of sites that are currently blocked off it would be nice to see these open back up

Argentine Ants: Please be advised that Argentine ants exist in our parks. They are listed by the World Conservation Union as one of the world's 100 worst invasive species. There is currently no reliable treatment or chemical available to effectively control Argentine ant populations, but we are aware of the problem and are working with pesticide applicators, other agencies and partners to find an effective means of control, so we may provide pleasant, safe, and healthy recreation opportunities for you and other members of the public. You can help during your visit to Navarro Mills Lake by following these steps:
