Management/onsite staff great. Will help when you need it, otherwise leave you alone. My experience unique so comments may not be applicable to others. I was there for the week with no other campers. So if you like quiet, got to pick your opportunity. The day I left 5 trailers had pulled in and the noise steadily picked up. Depending on weather & temps need to choose site wisely. I had the best of the lot (right on the lake) but was highly exposed to afternoon hot sun. No bother, the beautiful city of Texarkana just minutes away with lots of fun things to do before returning early eve. The sole trail, Shady Harbor a must. It's very pleasant but I typically knock out 7-8 miles a day. This will not tire but the most feeble. Did not go swimming, too much challenge with the rocks but there is a swimming beach at the other park.

Stayed in site #34, in our 24 ft Class B camper/van for 2 nights while traveling back to New Mexico. Wonderful views, great site. Camp host was friendly & super helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Piney Point really looks great this year. The park is very welcoming and clean. I really like all the work the volunteers have put into clearing the underbrush, keeping up the landscaping, and everything else they do to make Piney Point such a nice campground. There are a lot of deer to see in this park, too.

The view was amazing!!! Our spot needed gravel it was very hard to level the camper. The bathrooms were really really bad!!!! The toilet were all not flushing and full. The shower was just a stream of water and very dirty.

Camp sights are nice, the camp host were helpful. Restrooms were very outdated and only cleaned once a day. By the end of the day, you could tell they had been well used. Lots of wildlife in the park. Several deer families not easily scared.

Beautiful campground. Nice sites with concrete picnic table, grill with a work table beside it. Saw 15 deer in 2 days. Would go back.

Nice shaded sites for the hot days. We always like this park for its quite seating on a awesome fishing lake.
This lake has some of the best catfish in Texas. Thank you for another great camping adventure.
