Very remote and quite the time of year we were there. We would love to stay here again it was a great experience.

Nice campground. Secluded and quiet but sites are pretty close to each other.
Site 6 is my personal favorite.

The campground is well kept and finding your sit is easy. Also the bathrooms were really warm which was fortunate because it was in the 30s overnight

Very quiet compared to Pine Springs side. I was the only RV over a February weekend. A couple cars in tent camping. Easy to hike to great western views.

Dog Canyon is the best place to stay around Guadalupe. It is quiet and off the beaten path compared to the other side of the park, and fortunately it is very wind protected. While visiting the Pine Springs side on Saturday, winds were well in excess of 40 mph and everyone looked miserable. On the dog canyon side, we never felt any wind all weekend and it was very pleasant. We saw bobcat and mule deer on the way in, and a flock of wild turkeys came through camp the last morning we were there. Very quiet and peaceful campground with all of the amenities!
