I booked a pull thru spot here for our 42 foot bumper pull destination trailer. Spot chosen (pull through catered up to 45 ft) was booked on the 10th for the 11th check in and check out on the 12th. We had never been to this lot before but it was local to us and we always see it full so we wanted to give it a shot. Since we are local, we took our personal vehicle and drove the lot on the 11th prior to hooking up/bringing the trailer. (This is important to mention). Unfortunately we determined, by looking at the lot #, the neighboring spots, that were BOTH occupied, the vehicles parked over their lot lines in the grass between lots, the amount of space/stuff that neighbored etc., that we did not want to maneuver our RV in this space for safety reasons etc., and we opted to book elsewhere with a familiar resort a little further up the road with wider lots and more room to safely maneuver for us personally. No harm no foul. We weren't upset and just went elsewhere.

The reason for the review:
I felt I already knew the answer would be no, but figured we'd give it a friendly shot and we called on the 12th to inform what happened and why we didn't arrive and stay. I inquired into a refund and was, at first, politely told no and that she (did not provide her name) wished we could've called on the 10th in order to provide the refund. I started to explain that we didn't know it was going to be an issue until we drove the facility on the 11th/check in day. (It is evident, by the stuff accumulated around the RVs, that people live here long term, which is great and Im happy people love it to stay long term, but for us and the size of our RV, we decided to change locations).

This is the point where I was VERY disappointed with whom I spoke with and how we were treated. Before I could finish talking about what we saw/why we didn't stay, she claimed she or someone walked the grounds morning of the 12th (day of conversation), and said there was a leak/busted pipe and that "yall must've been the ones that caused the damage by driving through there" etc. I politely halted her and said, "respectfully it wasn't us as we never entered the facility with the RV, never made contact with the lot at all, and drove the facility aisles in our personal vehicle ONLY". She repeated herself, as did I. She then digressed and said, "Okay, well I haven't checked the cameras yet". I said, "please do as you will see on the 11th that such never happened".

She then also said that "no one else ever has issues pulling though the facility, setting up etc., and MULTIPLE people have RVs as large or larger than yours". I said, we definitely saw how big and full the facility was, with RVs, vehicles and stuff and closed with, "Thats your opinion, but we determined based on (everything described above) that it just didn't work for US." (We didn't have the time to talk with the office or knock on neighbor doors to move things around just for us to get in.) "I called to just inquire about a kind refund and understand and am okay with the no for today and we will continue to book elsewhere. Thanks for your time"

In summary, this was not a way to treat, talk to or handle any potential/present customer and we will probably never book here because of the way we were spoken to/ accused without any cause.

I lived here for about 2 years and it was perfect. The area is a gated safe community, with propane, a clubhouse, gym, pool, and active community of neighbors and RV mechanics. Cynthia the manager of the park is amazing!

I called to see if there was any spots for my travel trailer. Cynthia was so positive and exceptional to helping me. She even gave me and my daughter a tour. Which other RV park management don't do tours. I want to move here asap. I have a really nice travel trailer which I have kept it in storage. I hope to see Cynthia soon when I move here. I really like her personality and positive vibes. She told my daughter; oh your mom will fit in here with everyone here. Everyone looks out for each other. That's what sold me on moving here. I also like how everyone decorate for the holidays. I love to decorate. I kinda go overboard with decorating.

Cynthia, the manager, is a genuinely great person!! She has been a joy to work with. In the almost 2 years that I've been at this rv park, I have had a peaceful and pleasant experience. The amenities and pool are great! Don't go anywhere else!!!
