We booked this for a weekend of camping but ended up spending more money going somewhere else bcuz it was NOT worth the money. The top of the coffee pot had left over coffee grounds so it had molded inside, candy wrappers were scattered throughout the cabin as well. The info online says one bed one bathroom but you have to walk to your bathroom/shower. Bathrooms were atrocious small and there were 15-20 sewer bugs. You gain access to your guest portal that gives you the house rules, were there is no prior statement of their no pet policy. The split ac doesn’t stay on and the sheets were wet from the humidity outside. We only stayed one night and it was not worth it.
Not to mentioned there is also scattered trash through the camp ground as well.

We visited Geronimo Creek Retreat with our friends and family and stayed in the teepees. While the location has potential, our overall experience was not very comfortable. The teepees do not have attached restrooms, which became challenging at night, especially when traveling with children. When we first entered the teepees, there was a noticeable odor, and we also observed some bugs on the sofa. Additionally, the outdoor seating area did not appear well maintained, the benches had bird droppings, and the barbecue station could have been cleaner. We hope these areas can be improved to enhance the guest experience in the future.

We came at Christmas time (off season) and had a reservation for teepee 2. It smelled really bad of mildew. The outside of it was even filthy (mildew). The management offered another one and it had been freshly painted and smelled. Teepee 3 was perfect (recently remodeled) The hot tub was down for maintenance and the game room was locked up. They are trying to update the best they can I'm sure. Overall all we had a very peaceful time and enjoyed ourselves very much all things considered. For the price it was great. The beds were very comfortable. Nice that they offered a coffee maker and coffee.

We had a pleasant stay at Geronimo Creek Retreat! The location is beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and unwind. Our tepee room was spacious and comfortable. However, some amenities could use improvement — interior furniture, outside grill, few of the games and kayaking equipment seemed to need maintenance. With a bit more upkeep, this place could be even better. Overall, it was an enjoyable getaway.

I spent the weekend before Thanksgiving at Geronimo Creek with my family. The retreat is small, with about 10-12 cabins, teepees, and treehouses which makes it feel cozy and intimate. The only drawback is that that the teepees and treehouses don’t have restrooms inside; instead they are located in small trailers nearby. That can be a little unconventional at night. Overall, though, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for an outdoor camping experience with a touch of comfort.
