We enjoyed our stay at this quiet little campground. Teri was very nice and accommodating. This was our first time in San Antonio and Teri gave us a nice detailed map and helped us navigate the city with some great suggestions! We really enjoyed the River Walk and the Alamo.
We decided last minute to go to the Chinese Tea Garden and it was delightful! It is a private area next to the San Antonio zoo with a beautiful waterfall and a gorgeous, pristine landscape where you can walk around. It also has Koi fish that they let you feed. It also has a cute little bar and gift shop. It is FREE to enter and there is free parking nearby. We highly recommend it!
The Hidden Valley RV Park was only 20 mins away from downtown, but secluded and quiet and away from the busy city.
I gave this review four stars because the laundry machines had a lot of animal hair inside the machines so we chose not to use them (we don't have pets). **Suggestion: perhaps keep a separate machine or two to be used only by campers that have pets. :)
Also, the below pullouts spots could use some shade trees. :)
All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks again, Teri for all your help!

Located approximately 20 minutes from the San Antonio River Walk area, this is a perfect place to land! We enjoyed everything about this campground. Yes, there is a long gravel road leading to the campground but it's not terribly rough. Everything stayed in the cupboards! We took sites 6 & 7 down by the creek where it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the sound of the coyotes at night. The laundry room is nice and utilizes the CSC app. The lady at the office gave us some great information on places to visit and how to get there. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a 44' Fifth Wheel toyhauler. There was plenty of space for our truck and camper.

Teri is very friendly and took the time to give us information about San Antonio and great recommendations for places to visit and dine.

A beautiful, well-maintained, pleasant, and very quiet RV park, with clean shower and restroom facilities. Each site has 30/50 amp electricity, potable water, and a gray water drain. Ideal for BigRigs. Some sites have shade trees. Teri, the owner, is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We only planned to stay two nights, but extended it to six. It takes 17 minutes to get to downtown San Antonio by Uber ($24). Cost per day $60 – the sixth day is free.
We'd love to stay again if we're in the area.

We stayed here the month of November 2024. We travel full-time in our 5th-wheel. The park is located with easy access to major roads and highways, but while at the campground, it's quiet and relaxing. It is a basic campground but does have a laundry room and clean bathrooms and showers. The park staff is super friendly.
