We recently stayed for 2 nights with our family of 4 for our first camping trip and it was a dream. Beautiful location, caught fish, had the best time! Will definitely be back!

Big Creek Marina and Campground has always been a favorite of my family’s when visiting lake Somerville. The new owners are so sweet and very family oriented. Since they’ve taken up ownership I have seen myself visiting big creek more often to participate in the events they have started to host and open up to everyone. All inclusive and truly welcome! They have also given the park a little facelift. Looks more clean and orderly nowadays.

We have camped and visited this park for years, even through multiple owners/management- my family and myself. By far the best and most laid back park at Lake Somerville hands down. We will continue visiting and camping here for years to come!! The new owners/management have been great and made it very welcoming with all of the new events they plan.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, Big Creek Marina and Campground is truly something special. This place has weathered its share of storms, and somehow come back even more beautiful each time, which says a lot about the care and heart behind it.
The location is hard to beat. You can sit back and watch deer wander through, enjoy the calm water, or spend the day launching your boat and exploring. If you prefer to stay close, fishing right along the shore is just as relaxing.
What makes it even better is how welcoming it feels for everyone. Whether you are planning a family trip, a quiet escape as a couple, or just some solo time to recharge, it fits perfectly. There is a peaceful charm here that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer.
It is the kind of place you visit once and immediately start thinking about your next trip back.
