What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

This is my second time to camp here. Once in a RV and once in a tent. Camp grounds are meticulously maintained. Several shady spots to choose from. Bathrooms/Showers are clean but lots of spiders and spider webs on ceilings….eeekkk. The lake is beautiful with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Will return again!

Couldn’t walk on the grass because of Grassburs and ants were horrible. We did appreciate the grass being mowed where it wasn’t mowed earlier in the year when we were out there

One of my favorite places to take the camper to. Big lots and quiet. The dogs really seem to like it too.

This is one our favorite parks within easy driving distance. The restrooms and showers were cleaned up nicely since the last visit but the park needed mowing but that got done before we left. Nothing but taking care of the entry gate and confirming reservations is handled by the hosts on site. Everything else is contracted out and we all know the job goes to the low bidder.
Our big complaint is that no one is allowed to come into a camping site until check-in time even if the site is vacant. We’ve been turned away even when it’s an hour before check-in. No reason for it.
