Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

The park grounds are well maintained. Sites are ample in length, allowing our PU truck and compact car to be parked in front of 36 ft RV. Spacious sites, included picnic table, fire ring, & grill. Bathrooms are basic & functional, clean as to no debris on floor...no paper towels/soap at sink area.
Lots of lake front sites, and due to low lake levels there was a 'beach' area to walk. Staff was friendly/helpful at check in.

We enjoyed our stay here. Site was great.
Bathrooms were a step up from Yeagua Park bathrooms, but certainly could be improved - lots of spider webs

The staff person checking us in on Sunday was so very pleasant. Our site was clean and ready for us. Grass was mowed, everything looks great.

We love camping at Rocky Creek. We love seeing all the wildlife. The scenery is so beautiful. There are stickers in the grass, so make sure you always have shoes on and watch your dogs paws. It would be nice to have a shaded cover on all sites, but I see how hard they are still working to replace damage from the flood after all these years. I would really love to see a playground put in for the grand kids. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but they try hard to keep them clean.
