What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Such a gorgeous place! Even the bathhouse was exceptional clean. Very quiet and tranquil atmosphere at the park. The nature trail in itself is worth the trip! The grounds are immaculate too. The staff is so helpful and we can't wait to go back soon!

Beautiful park and well maintained.
Trails were great for hiking or bike riding. Camping sites that we used were very level and clean.

Beautiful location, and having all hookups was a bonus. Friendly, informative hosts. Road condition was very poor - sunken areas and big potholes.

We stayed in the smaller loop in site 45 and had a beautiful view of the lake. The site was very well maintained, level, and had a covered picnic table, large firepit and a pedastal grill. Every employee with whom I interacted was polite and professional. We took a short hike with our grandson who was enjoying his first camping experience - he was one happy camper. 😊

Our site 60 was level and spacious. All sites in the park are generously spaced. We did not use the bath house but it was clean. All the park was exceptionaly clean and well maintained. The park host were quite friendly. All good, no negatives for us.

Campsite was awesome! Very well kept park. The weather was perfect. We highly recommend the hamburgers at Wild Bills, the store right outside the park entrance. Already have reservations for next month.

Great family camping trip for the third year in a row! The lady at the gate that checked us in (Susan I think was her name) is a dream. She was super sweet and thoughtful to my family and I. She was very helpful and informative. Her gracious customer service was definitely one of the highlights of our trip this year. See ya next year!
