What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

We had a site right on the water and it was fabulous. Campsite was clean and there was good fishing right behind our trailer! The park is also campers only, so the park was not overrun with day users, which was also great.

It was a great place, we were on the water and even tho it was down the wind was blowing the waves upon the beach and as we were walking saw alot of deer. People were so nice, especially Mitch the guy who saw us through the gates.wonderful place to go.

We love this park. It’s very family friendly, pet friendly, clean bathrooms, and lots of beautiful nature. Spent our mornings watching the deer walk around our camper eating. Best part is the beautiful lake.

We just want you to know we appreciate the staff and the care they put into managing and ensuring the park is cared for in great links.
The bathrooms, were clean.
We always appreciate that the park is well manicured and less stickers too. YAH!!
Thanks for doing an awesome job to take care of this park. This park is on top of our list and we appreciate the work that goes into maintaining it.

Park Host were great....Park is in need of much work. Boat ramp closed is unacceptable. Almost 100 or more camp spots shut down is unacceptable. Watching the decline of these Corp of Engineer campgrounds is disappointing.

We loved our spot. Beautiful trees and quick access to swim in the lake. Restrooms were well maintained. Park hosts very friendly. We will be back!
