This is a peaceful place. We enjoy it every two weeks now for 6 years.

Not all camp sites have hangers to put your garbage on at night time. This would be so very helpful, and more sanitary then placing partial bags of garbage in your vehicle or trailer, or wasting bags by taking partial bags to the dumpster. There is a 100% probability that the animals will scatter your garbage if left out over night on the ground, or in a truck bed.

I have been camping at Yegua for over 35 years. Clean park and restrooms. Friendly folks at the gate. Nice beach for the family. I highly recommend it.

Relaxing park with water & electric (30 & 50 amp). Lots of deer and other wildlife. Lake Somerville is known for fishing and summer water activities.

We loved it! The views are beautiful! We stayed for 13 days in 3 different sites (11, 15, 1). Site 1 for majority of the time and it was my favorite! Close enough to bike to Wild Bills (convenience store)… they have a restaurant but we found out they close from 2-5 during the week. We went to a Mexican restaurant nearby that was pretty good.

The park was full of wildlife and fresh air. The gate attendants were very resourceful. We had a great time. The park was clean, bathrooms and showers were clean. Overall a park that will be revisited!
