Yegua Creek

I have been camping at the Yeague Park for the past 25+ years, and have always had a Great experience with the camp grounds and more so the Park host.. But the host that was there last week was the Most Unfriendliest Person, Mainly came to our campsites, which we had 5 sites all together with my brothers, sisters, and nephews.. My surburan was parked in site 79 ( which belonged to my brother) and the park host said I can not be parking my vehicle in a site it was not Registered with.. I explained to him that may not be my site, but it belongs to someone in our group, Also we had a boat parked in a site that my nephew reserved but was not there yet till later that evening and told us we can not be parking a boat in a site that does not belong to us.. Again I explained that site belongs to my nephew, So he is NOT going to complain about us parking in his site.. These Park Host have a tough job I know, trying to keep things straight but this was something I thought should have never happened.. It would be different if the site #79 went to complain about us parking in the site that did belong to them, but this was totally uncalled for..

Park staff are very helpfull with anything. Better since went to the new program with volunteers

This is a really nice place to camp.
We've been going here for years and will continue to go back again & again.

Great park for relaxing, fishing for the whole family!

Wildflowers were in their prime.. the maintenance team cut enough to get around without walking thru tall grass where insects often reside. Restrooms throughout the country system are showing need of deep clean and water supply plumbing is failing. The men’s room hand dryer was making a loud noise and not blowing air. The Ranger went to resolve as soon as I informed them. Looking forward to next visit!!!

Awesome campground! One of my favorites! Clean bathroom and showers! Well kept. Nice beach! Lots of shade! Easy access!

The showers could have a better supply of hot water. Usually end up taking cold showers, not good. Also our site had a bunch of larger white rocks that made it hard to walk on without tripping. We’re older, so we had to sweep them together in a pile, to avoid injuries. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Great location with lots of water access. The sites are a bit close together which could be a drag if the place was full. Plenty of trees for shade and the price is right. There is one small trail but a closed bridge makes completing the circuit impossible.

park and employees great, weather was not, and some of the "weekend" crowd have no idea what it means to have a convienience like Yegua to use, some people are just filthy, they had took a dump in the shower, this concerned me but I took the time to clean it up, hope it doesn't happen again, but other than that allis good at Yegua!
