We enjoyed our 5 day stay. When it was too cold to fish we went in to surrounding towns like Roundtop & ate out & drove out to see the bluebonnets.

We had a great time. It would be nice if they updated the bathrooms, but everything else was great.

This is one of several campgrounds on this lake and we had a very nice time camped out here. Over the years we have camped on lake Somerville and enjoyed it very much...

Before we arrived at the park, I called for clarification. Lady that answered the phone was abrupt and borderline rude. But when we checked in gate lady was pleasant. Site had a great view of the lake, site was clean and plenty of room. Visited with neighbors and park was quiet.

We have come to love COE Parks. We have yet to stay in a bad one but this one is our best experiences. What especially stands out is their aggressive attack on the sticker plants that have invaded the area. There is another park nearby and the difference in addressing the problem is significant. Kudos to Yegua! The camp sites a large and adequately separated, nice facilities and the dump station is level and easily accessible. Friendly host and a beautiful setting. We are returning visitors to this park because this is a favorite area of the state. We travel 426 miles from our home to get to Yegua, and it's worth the effort.

Beautiful spot, only negative if water pressure is extremely low (32 psi)

This was our first time camping at Yegua Creek, and we will definitely be back. Beautiful views, wonderful fishing and great trails to walk through. The beach area is also very nice and will be great in the summer. We look forward to camping there again soon!
