New Wave RV Park

Our second visit to this quiet little campground, every bit as nice as the first! Super clean and friendly. Leonard made us feel welcomed and safe. As proud, native Texans we love to visit campgrounds that echo ‘home’ and offer the true feeling of hospitality that Texas is known for! It’s also good to note that he keeps a couple of full hook up drive throughs available for those of us traveling through and arriving late. Great stay!

Leonard is such a sweet, thoughtful gentleman who was very accommodating when I needed to stay a couple extra days. He also didn't hesitate to help when I needed help getting my hitch situated on the trailer. His campground has laundry facilities and I loved that it was about 5 minutes from grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants.

The manager Leonard is very friendly! Definitely has exceeded my expectations on kindness and helpfulness. The park is well taken care of as well as a quiet place. Location is great, close to convenient stores, grocery stores, fast food & restaurants! If you’re making your way through town and need a place to park your camper for a few nights or however long, I highly recommend this one!

Found this place on Passport America. Was going ot stay 1 night but extended to 3 days. It was located right on the highway but traffic noise was not and issue. The sites are easy to manuever, even for large rigs. Many pull-through sites with full hook-ups. Pretty level gravel sites. The electrical, water, and sewer connections were all updated and well-kept. 20, 30, and 50 amp connections. Wifi worked well. Don't let the standing water in the picture concern you, the picture was taken right after a thunderstorm and the water drained quickly thereafter. Leonard, the host, met me at the entrance and escorted me to my site. Leonard was a very friendly likable guy and does a great job keeping the place up. The office has a bathroom with a shower, a game room, and laundry facilities that were well kept. Leonard gave me some tomatoes from his little garden. Thanks, Leonard for a pleasant stay. Looking forward to staying again in my travels.

Update: Stopped by here again only to find except for a few improvements everything was still the same. That's a good thing. Leonard was still here doing a really good job of maintaining and managing. Leonard remembered me and even gave me my old spot back without me asking. That's a welcoming feeling when you travel a lot. Good job Leonard. Thank you.

What a difference the new owner has made with this park! We were hesitant to stay here a few years back , especially reading the reviews.
This trip we drove by and saw all the improvements and decided to stay with them and we were so happy we did.
The game room, laundry facilities and horseshoe are wonderful and the pricing is wonderful for last minute travelers.

I can’t believe how much they have cleaned up the property in the short time they’ve been here, including less than desirable long term renters who are all gone!
