What Guests Are Saying
Horseshoe RV Park is praised for its beautiful environment, quiet atmosphere, and clean laundry and shower facilities. The on-site staff, particularly Kevin and Denise, are noted for being respectful and responsive to issues. However, concerns were raised about pest infestations in storage units, cleanliness of rental sites, and a lack of pest control, which have led some to advise against using the storage facilities. Overall, many guests enjoy their stay despite some maintenance issues.

I really enjoy staying here. It is a beautiful RV Park. I work nights and sleep during the day, so I’m very grateful it’s quiet, even during the weekends. I am also renting a storage unit. I did have to clean the storage unit before moving my belongings in and also had to clean our rv rental site. The storage unit was filled with dead crickets, living spiders, and lots of dirt and the rv site had many cigarette butts and beer bottle caps all over the ground. I have bought spider and mouse repellent for the storage, and still go nearly daily to keep it clean from the critters. Aside from those few small details everything is great. My daughter and I are very happy with the place. The laundry room and showers are always clean, which we are very grateful for.The internet works well. Overall it’s a really great place to stay.

I’ve lived here for about 3 months so far and have had little to complain about! The on site staff Kevin and Denise are great! Nice and respectful and if there is an issue they resolve it! I do have a problem signing in to pay for my storage unit so I do wish it was all in one place to pay! But the lady that called was professional and was able to take the payment over the phone! Another complaint I have is the landscaping, there are a ton of stickers around the area and my dogs paws are suffering from it! It would be nice to possibly have a little dog park put in or at the very least get rid of the sticker problem! But overall it has been a great stay so far! Thanks to all the staff!

Avoid this storage place unless you’re ok with incessant rodents and insects.
When we first started renting a unit and called about feces being all over our boxes and dead rats, we were told it was their first time owning storage units and they will get pest control. They had been open for months by this point, but we believed things would change. They offered us 2 free months and a promise they’d keep their pest control up.
We had to throw away so much our items due to it being ruined by rat pee and feces. We accepted the 2 months free rent and moved to the next storage unit to get out of the unit with the dead decaying rat. They left the rat there for months until someone else moved in.
The infestation continued in our new unit and we decided we needed to get out. As we are moving out we find 4 dead rodents, one which is decaying into the floor between the wall and our straps. I do not believe they are doing any type of regular pest control. We’ve never had an issue like this in any other storage unit we’ve used.
I emailed twice to cancel with no response. I called, no answer and was sent a text with a link to get a unit. I texted the reason for the call and told them we’d be out by today and they said they didn’t get the email. I screenshotted the email and email address…she says it’s the right email. She tells me nothing further needs to be done. We go back to get our last load and they’ve locked us out already.
I called to ask them to let me back in and she opens the gate and then I give her a heads up about the dead rats and hoards of dead crickets and spiders. Again, just to let them know what’s left in the unit. She launches into that it’s MY responsibility to do pest control. No understanding, no apologies, just a “not my problem.” As any sane person would respond I was angry. This just isn’t right. What business owner acts this way. I didn’t ask for anything free, just giving a heads up of what’s left in the unit and maybe a clue to start doing some regular pest control. Dead rodents, feces and 100s of crickets is not normal for a storage unit.
I suggest these “first time” storage owners listen and learn from this experience. It is your responsibility to do regular pest control on your property for your business.
Anyone looking for storage unit, look elsewhere. There are many other storage units around that will do regular pest control or just buy a shipping container. The $130 we spent a month left us with half of our stuff needing to get thrown out and owners who do not care about their tenants.

There were no stocked fish the whole 5 months we were there. The Low water pressure became an issue, (Ive had no problems at the new rv park with water pressure). Then came the 100 upcharge for the lots, with all the rv bills including electric ended up being 800 plus. Defenitly not worth it. Gave an extra star for the friendly staff.
