Enjoyed the location. Our site did not have a shelter over the table so we will be choosing one with that for next time. Also the dump station is raised enough where it’s hard to drain. Looking ahead we are planning on a full hookup next time. Already booked for the fall.

We use COE parks quite often and this is definitely a keeper in our book. Check in a breeze, staff helpful and friendly, site clean and nicely groomed. We were on site 13 FHU, was ready for new tenants when we got there. It overlooks the lake, but not right on the lake. Is a back in and slightly lower to the front, but nothing that was an issue with our motorhome. Has lovely trees for shade. Most of the other sites in the loop have covered picnic tables, this one and #14 did not but both have trees for shade so not necessary. Will definitely be coming back on our travels this way.

The folks at the gate were very nice and helpful. Site 10 was about the 2nd best site that I have camped in this year. The only small issue I had was the grill was not level and food "hotdogs" had a tendency to roll off. Recently while camping at another Lake Waco campground, I noticed they had installed new grills at most of the sites I visited. Site 10 grill could use a TLC, to get it to function normally. Power, water and the other amenities were all excellent.

Airport Park is our new favorite place! Our waterfront site was huge and had easy access to the lake. The park was full, but didn't seem crowded because we had so much space! Everything that we needed was close by to include showers, bathrooms, and dumpsters. We will definitely be back!

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Park gates are locked at night; no vehicle entry from 10 pm to 6 am.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- You can stay a maximum of 14 days within any 30-day period at Waco Lake.
- Each campsite can accommodate 10 people and 4 vehicles maximum.
Safety & rules
- Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am; non-campers must leave by 10 pm.
- You must keep your campsite clean and collect trash regularly.
- Firearms, ammunition, fireworks, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Site types & loops
- You may have one RV/Trailer and either two tents or three tents at a campsite.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed at all times; leashes should be no longer than 6 feet.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the park.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed only in designated areas; cutting trees for firewood is prohibited, and fires are banned during burn bans.
Wildlife & food storage
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and use it on-site to protect forests.
Amenities
- Bounce houses are not allowed except in reserved shelters with a permit; water features are prohibited.
- Small swimming pools are allowed with specific size limits; they must be moved daily and supervised by an adult.
