Parsons Marina

We went 4th of July, they didnt have their regular menu only BBQ. It was good, but I was looking forward to the catfish.

The RV Park should be avoided at all cost if you have a motorhome. It took us moving spaces 3 times to get our 33 ft. rig level. On the 2nd attempt, we got it level enough…went to plug in and there was no power so we had to start over again. There is no dumpster for trash, no restrooms, overgrown gravel spots and absolutely no place to stop to hook up pur tow vehicle. When you call their phone, it goes straight to voicemail- every time. All in all - a terrible experience. Just a junky, unkept park.

Shookys has good food! Awesome view of the lake. Has pool table & shuffle board. Friendly staff and nice comfy environment 💜

Parsons Marina at Whitney Lake was a hidden gem for us. We loved it here, so much so we extended our stay. Crystal the host was awesome, she kept us informed of things going on at the Marina & at Shooky's Bar & Grill, she was a pleasure to talk with.
This place was a great place to relax, unwind & go at your own pace. And let me tell you the lake & sunsets here were absolutely beautiful!

First time to drive thru since new ownership. I use to bank fish here, now there is a gate (which was open). Seems like they are doing nice renovations, but I think the open bank fishing is a no go now.😞 But saw a sign which says they sell ice, which is great, no more driving several miles for ice.
