We love Albion Basin, but it is getting overcrowded with hikers and construction.

This is by far the nicest US Forest Service owned campground that I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at many). The ground at the site had been raked before we arrived, there were bug traps in the trees, and there were even scented candles in the outhouses. Not to mention the spectacularly beautiful location of the Albion Basin.

Gorgeous location, near Alta resort so you can get modern conveniences but not so close you notice while camping. Wonderful hosts, trails and facilities.

What a great time we had. The campground is one of our favorites and the campground host is fantastic. They keep everything ship shape. These are the best out houses you will ever see.
