One of our favorites up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Plenty of trees and plenty of space away from other campsites

This is a lovely campground and so convenient to Salt Lake City. We had a moose wander through our campsite!

We really enjoyed our stay at Redman Campground. Lovely setting in the spruces, by a brook, lots of squirrels, deer and other wildlife nearby. Clean bathrooms with running water were wonderful! Only downside was litter left by previous campers, including 5 to 6 piles of TP from people using the bathroom in the woods and leaving their "tissue-paper flower" messes behind. (We put on gloves and cleaned these up and disposed of the messes in the dumpster.) But overall, we loved our camping stay at Redman and we will be back.

The campground is brilliant - clean bathrooms, beautiful surroundings, quiet nature time. This specific spot (#33) isnβt perfect as much if it is on a slope. But, we put up the tent on the parking pad (which is long), and used hammocks to hang out instead of chairs.
