The location is amazing and we always love camping here. Had 5 moose walk through the campsite. But recently the upkeep of the camp has declined. Bathrooms a horrible mess with no toilet paper. Garbage in the fire pit and the fire pit was almost completely full of ash. Maybe like everyone else they are having trouble finding people to work. But it was obvious no one had checked our site for some time.

Awesome campground with huge trees, lots of shade, and Big Cottonwood Creek flowing right through the middle of the campground. Watchout for Moose! We were there for two nights and had 4 different moose visit our campsite, including a huge bull that hung out in our campsite for several hours.

Our campsite was far enough away from other sites that we had a lot of privacy. Also during the week the campground wasn't full so it was quiet and relaxing. During the 4 nights that we were there, we saw 4 moose and at least 4 deer which was a fun plus. We went up to Brighton and Silver Lake and our kids did some hiking and fishing. Because it is high enough, the temperatures are 15-20 degrees cooler than in the valley. Redman is one of our favorite places to camp.

The camp host was super rude. He seemed like he was either high or drunk. He rode his motorcycle through the campground in the middle of the night and in the early morning hours revving his engine. He didn’t come talk to us until we’d been there a couple days and he was yelling at us for not coming to find him. He also told us we’d been there three or four days with too many cars which was not true. The bathroom had no toilet paper for a couple days and no soap at all. I was super disappointed. When you pay almost 200 dollars for a site, you expect your experience to be pleasant and there to at least be soap in the bathroom.
