What Guests Are Saying

Albion Basin is a stunning high-elevation campground known for its cleanliness, breathtaking scenery, and exceptional hosts, Rae and George, who enhance the experience with thoughtful touches like scented candles in the bathrooms. The campground offers peaceful camping, great hiking opportunities, and well-kept facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. Some minor issues were noted, such as oversized speed bumps and overcrowding, but overall, guests highly recommend Albion Basin for a beautiful getaway.

I love this location, it is one of my favorite places to camp. The campground infrastructure has seen better days, though. Many of the picnic tables are in bad shape. About 3 inches between the table and seat on one end, 3 ft on the other. The bench about 7" off the ground. The once level tent spots have all been washed out, and are far from flat. Being buried in 500" of snow all winter helps explain the situation, but it has been many years without any attention paid to these things ( I know, I have camped here every year for a decade). The fees charged to stay here aren't small, please show a little love to the sites you're charging us for!
Thanks!!
