Site was very small and quite sloped. Far walk to rim or shuttles.

I like that the location of this campground is within walking distance of the park's commercial amenities such as the visitor's center and a general store. Spent four restful nights there in my Camper Van.

Very quiet setting close to the canyon for hiking and sunrise. The parking pad was not very level which was a minor issue as we use a pickup bed tent and can’t use the tent pad. Other than that things were good. The general store nearby was nice and had hot showers. Although you had to pay for them.

Sites are more open than I originally thought. For car camping the bumpers really limited the camp space. We moved the table closer to center since we could just get back in to the very front. Tent camping would have utilized the space better. We were there for a storm and had zero rain issues though. Bathrooms are nice. We had our dog and thought we would be able to walk the rim trail from campground but it is unpaved and not allowed so had to walk the road until the all purpose paved trail.

This camping spot was nothing more than a small pullout with a picnic table next to it. The good thing was it is level.

Great campground. Wish I had booked a second night there instead of the pricey lodge.

Facilities were good; all clean and well maintained. The campsites were just too close to one another without any privacy.

Loved that this campground is so close to the rim trails! It was so convenient not having to drive to get to trailheads. Bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the campground was very well maintained! We will definitely be back!
