What Guests Are Saying
North Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience amidst stunning scenery and tall trees, making it a favorite among visitors. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean bathrooms, hot water, and good access to hiking trails and the visitor center. While some sites may not be completely level and the reservation process could be clearer, the overall atmosphere and thoughtful hosts contribute to an enjoyable stay.

Great Spot! Easy to access with our camper van! Loved the stairs down to the ground and the night view of the sky!

This campground is amazing. Most of the time our place was in the shade. Nearby restrooms were always clean. The possibility to have a shower in the general store is nice.

Clean and quiet with cute critters to watch. Nice level picnic table that was in good shape. I say our only complaint is that it was not a level site for our RV (It had quite a slope to it) which wasn't clear when we made the reservation .and it made for some uncomfortable sleeping.

Nice, quiet campground with plenty of oversight and general politeness. Sites are a little small, but it feels like a well-loved, well taken care of place.

Site was beautiful, but the path to the bathroom was very steep.

The overall camp experience was fine. But Reserve America double-booked the campsite, meaning I had to talk with the camp host to be put in what is essentially an overflow site. Fortunately, the other campers and the camp host were all congenial and friendly. But this platform needs to get their act together.

We spent one night in site 83 and three nights in site 89 - Both sites were okay except for the crowding. We understand the issue, however, a quiet national park experience gets lost the more people are packed in. In site 89 our table/cooking area was less than ten feet from our neighbor's tent area. The fire rings re nice except when the back side leads to a steep slope.
The park has always been extremely excellent - tenting is just getting more and more difficult to enjoy

We loved the serenity and the quietness of the campsite despite how full it was. It was well maintained and the facilities were very clean.
We recommend watching the sunrise at Sunrise Point a short less than a mile walk along the Rim Trail from the campground.
