Nice location next to the lake, bathrooms are clean, staff is present and friendly, spots are spacious, and it's lovely being in the pines.

We had a great stay! The campground is well-kept with clean restrooms, and the camp host was super friendly and welcoming. We loved the convenience of having a little town just 5 minutes away for anything we needed. We stayed in Loop A since Loops B and C are under renovation. The only downside was the traffic noise at night/day which can get a bit loud, but overall it was a very nice campground. We will come back for sure

We have been camping here for about 15 years. We have experienced all kinds of weather. We have even experienced camping with no water at times. We have learned to make adjustments in our plans. You can always call on the day before you arrive and find out if there are any issues with the campgrounds.

We had a spot reserved for Thursday night as Friday, Saturday and Sunday night were first come first serve. When I looked at our reservation a week or so before our reservation it said reserved. So we thought we would just drive up there since many of the campgrounds were first come first serve and for sure we’d be able to find a spot but no all the spots were reserved at all the campgrounds. It took us four hours to get there and luckily we had a spot for Thursday night. It doesn’t make sense they say first come first serve and you get there and they’re all reserved. We left first thing Friday morning, and we will never ever go to Duck Creek again. Their campgrounds are very dumpy. So our experience was awful.

Water was shut off yet again, this seems to be a reoccurring issue for the duck Creek area. Also, campers from another site overflowed into our site forcing us to use only one of the two sites that we had booked, no one seemed to be able to help us with that issue. We elected to deal with it instead of fighting with the other campers, when no help would be made available by the parks dept.

The campground itself looked to be nice with tree coverage for privacy and nice level as sites. However, we arrived to find no water or dump station and no water anywhere on the mountain due to maintenance without any notice. Also there was a construction site behind our campsite with loud banging on metal t-bar, yelling men and noise from heavy equipment. They should have warned us about the lack of water which we were depending on due to dry camping several days previously and closed that side of the campground due to noise. It was awful and we left early and angry.
