For dry camping, we've never enjoyed anywhere that we felt more close to nature than here at Duck Creek. Our site was level, the picnic table new and modern, and the surroundings magnificent. The park is very well maintained.
We had encounters with two different camp hosts, both very helpful and pleasant.
The nearby tiny village of Duck Creek was something out of a fairy tale. In the middle of absolutely nowhere, suddenly there was a hardware store, gas station, and a wonderful coffee shop, along with a few other stores. Apparently Duck Creek lives for the snowy winter season as there were rows of snow mobiles awaiting the first snowfall.
We loved this place.

Site 12 was a little open, but it was perfect for our solar panels. The meadow view gave us the perfect view of deer nearly every morning / evening. Plenty of room on the pavement for our friend in her motorized scooter to come from another site to spend time with us. We really appreciated the proximity to Duck Creek Village when our sewer hose broke. There was a Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints just 20 min away in Alton. A very sweet trip for its distance from noise and traffic. jjb

The website says not to bring in outside firewood, but the onsite person told us the beetles are already there. Bit late on that one. Also, the website says to bring extra money for vehicles, but nowhere does it say how much to bring. That was annoying. It's beautiful and we had a great time.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Duck Creek campground, initially picking it for the location between Bryce and Zion national parks. After visiting each of these parks for a day apiece, we chose to stay at Duck Creek rather than return for a second day at Zion due to both the driving time and the crowds. Duck Creek is a relaxing campground with a small lake nearby, and a few relatively short hiking trails. Flush toilets are always a nice option, and these were very clean. The mountainous location and cool temperature were wonderful.
