Great host, great campground

Beautiful, nice weather, flash toilets and a beautiful lake close to the camping.

It's a nice campsite. Easy check-in/check-out. Bathrooms are nice and workers kept them clean. No extra precautions for Covid, but I guess most people who go here don't care about that.
Our only surprise was how close together sites are. Fire pits are all pretty much lined up - often tent areas between sites are really close too. If you're looking for easy, flush-toilets and potable water, plus beautiful areas to explore, then this campground is great. But if you prefer more space or to not hear your neighbor's music/conversations, then maybe not here. We did have a great time though.

This place was spectacular in August! There were no mosquitos or bugs bothering us! We got one night online and was hoping for a second of 1st serve. However, the guy in charge let me move our campsite to one that was abandoned and have two nights there so we didn't have to move anything the second day. It was also cheaper to pay there instead of online.

There was a little ranger station accross the road, helping us. Navajo lake was only minutes away, for an evening out. The Lava tubes and caves were great and only an hour or so from Bryce and a cheap hotel ($50) night at the Days Inn in Kanub for a shower a little later. We are form San Diego and we much preferred this to Yosemite and Mamamoth this time of year, which are so crowded. It was just as lovely, high altitude (which affected our hiking) and a great break from the heat of everywhere else not in the mountains (cold at night!).

The only annoyance was washing dishes not in the spikit was hard, as well as only having one bathroom stall for each loop--too many women wanted that stall!

My new favorite getaway. Beautiful campground, friendly staff and a fishing pond! Perfect!

Nice size campground in a great central location; about an hour to both Bryce and Zion. We visited in mid-August and enjoyed the cooler temps (~75 in camp vs 100+ in the parks). We reserved sites 87-88 and enjoyed the privacy, space and quiet atmosphere. The camp host said weekends are typically very crowded but we came at just the right time (Sun-Wed). Would definitely visit again.

Nice little campground. Great location for fishing (rainbow trout). Weather was perfect for August. Mid 80's in the day and 50's at night. Right off the highway so you do hear trucks passing but not loud enough to ruin the outdoors feeling. The hiking trails in the back of the campsite were great.

Always a great experience and top notch facilities.

We were in campsite #2 in upper Duck Creek which is down beside the creek. We arrived Friday evening and at some point Sat. morning while we were not at our campsite a large group of 12 moved in beside us. They brought cookers, coolers, music, tables, chairs and awnings. They were in our parking spot and the whole parking area for #1, #2, and #3 campsites. I had to ask them to move a truck so that I could park and to turn down their music. I asked if they were staying the night, they were not. I wished the camp host would have come by to ask them to leave as they exceeded the maximum number to be at a site and they technically were in ours. We never saw the camp host in our area and I did go to their site but they were not there either.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. Great place between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park with sites to see nearby.
